I am fortunate to have the opportunity to pursue my passion, creating beautiful works of art. My influences are the result of growing up surrounded by the bluffs and rivers of the La Crosse area, and the many opportunities that are available here. As a multi-media artist, my areas of interest include; oil, acrylic, watercolor and mixed media painting, drawing, ceramics and photography. My inspiration comes from my love of nature, the unspoiled beauty of the Mid-Western States, and the many beautiful places my travels have taken me to. I sometimes call myself an Impressionist, but if the truth be know, I really enjoy a using a variety of techniques and media. Learning about art history, having access to present day materials, and my love of all art media has given me the confidence to experiment with many artistic styles.
My greatest pleasure as an artist, recreating images of the many places I travel throughout the U.S and beyond.
